SAP Business One and EDI: SAP Selects EDI Consulting Group as its New Business One Integration Partner
SAP Business One and EDI: SAP Selects EDI Consulting Group as its New Business One Integration Partner
Wednesday- June 29, 2005
EDI Consulting Group has signed an agreement with SAP America, Inc., a subsidiary
of SAP AG (NYSE: SAP), the world’s leading provider of business software solutions, that
recognizes EDI Consulting Group as an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Solution Provider for its
SAP® Business One software. EDI Consulting Group's single-source approach to EDI and its ability to
fully integrate with SAP Business One were key factors driving SAP’s decision.
EDI Consulting Group specializes in providing an end-to-end EDI solution that enables small and midtier
companies to electronically send and receive transactions, such as purchase orders, invoices
and advance shipping notices, integrating the process with their back-end business system. By
eliminating the need for manual re-keying and verification of this information, the
EDI LINK system enables users to reduce or eliminate costly data entry mistakes.
“We are very excited to have signed this agreement with SAP,” said Randall Hall, EDI Consulting Group, “especially given the importance SAP places on selecting strategic partners. We view our relationship with SAP as an integral part of our future success and we look forward to the opportunity it represents.”
SAP Business One allows small and midsize businesses to manage critical business operations
with a single software solution. Offering seamless integration with Microsoft® Excel and
Microsoft® Outlook for ease of use and increased productivity, SAP Business One provides users
with advanced reporting, access to critical data and the ability to manage events in real time.
Integrated customer relationship management (CRM) and business management features ensure
seamless interaction and full managerial control across sales, service and all other areas of the
business.
“Integrated with SAP Business One, the combined solution seamlessly simplifies
EDI without sacrificing functionality, providing a competitive business advantage for the small
and midsize business market.” said Dan Kraus, vice president, SAP Business One, Sap America, Inc.
